There are many organizations in BINUS Univ. they’re all unique in their own ways, all kinds of clubs and communities exist, from sports to education to martial arts and much more. When I was first introduced to the organizations, I started having thoughts in which one(s) I’d be interested in joining. “For sure I’ll be joining Nippon Club,” is what I said to myself, as I’ve had an interest in Japan, it’s language and culture ever since middle school. There were lots of other clubs that I was interested in, but in the end I had to limit myself to how many I’d join. And the final verdict was: I joined two clubs! Just as stated above, I joined Nippon Club, and then the other club I joined was the Game Dev. Club.

Nippon Club held a welcoming event for it’s new members at the 13th of September, after re-registering we were all rounded up in the back area of Syahdan with our respective group. After a little introduction from the Senpai(s), we finally went on to the main event! We went from one room to another, each room was filled with all types of things that you’ll be able to see and do in Nippon Club. There were Arts&Crafts, Language Class, Cosplay Class, Community (like TCG and Figure Collecting I think), Media (a Band and Radio), and much more. Of course as an organization they had a class about the club administrators. After we finished the main event we got a little bit of free time, and then at, I believe it was, 4 we were all told to go back to the place where we were rounded up before to continue the event’s agenda. There we were, symbolically, made official members of NC and at the end of this event we did a Bon Odori! It was fun and I’m glad I went, even though I was kinda awkward at the Bon Odori ^^”

The Game Dev. Club will be having a welcoming event on the 4th of October, I’m kind of excited to see what it will be like.
